Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has proposed optimizing Kazakhstan's court system with the help of artificial intelligence.
At the 9th Congress of Judges in Astana, the President highlighted how the introduction of digital technologies has significantly simplified citizen participation in the judicial process and enhanced transparency of court operations.
"In Kazakhstan, we have information systems that allow judges to review the decisions of other courts. This helps ensure fair judicial rulings and contributes to the formation of a unified database. Such information should be available to all parties involved in the legal process. This way, individuals can better assess the likelihood of certain judicial outcomes, which, in turn, would reduce the number of disputes and lawsuits filed by citizens. Without a doubt, simplifying judicial proceedings remains a crucial task, including through the use of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence," the President stated.
Earlier, a Kazakh citizen filed a lawsuit against the government over the time change.
