A booby-trapped car exploded early on October 24 near the headquarters of a Turkish-backed group in the newly-occupied town of Tell Abyad in northeastern Syria.
The targeted headquarters belong to the Glory Corps, a member of the National Syrian Army (NSA), according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
“At least four people were injured, information also indicate that others were killed,” the UK-based monitoring group’s report read.
The NSA led a large-scale assault on northeast Syria earlier this month under the banner of Turkish Operation Peace Spring. Tell Abyad was captured by NSA militants on October 13 in the framework of the operation.
There was no immediate claim for the attack. However, opposition activists accused Kurdish forces of planning the explosion.
