Teyana Taylor’s Rarely-Seen Daughter Rue Stole the Show With Impromptu Singing on the 2026 Actor Awards Red Carpet
This is not a drill: Teyana Taylor brought her daughter, Rue, to the 2026 Actor Awards with her (and her daughter gave a lil singing performance)!
In case you missed it, on March 1, nominee Taylor arrived looking stunning at the 2026 Actor Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. And she wasn’t alone because her youngest daughter looked like a lil fashion icon next to her! You can see the photos below:
Not only do we see the One Battle After Another star looking drop-dead-gorgeous in this custom, shimmering Thom Browne gown, but we see her mini-me Rue Rose, bringing all the style and sass. For the event, we see Rue in this ensemble consisting of a blue and white sweater, colorful skirt, and black combat boots!
Now they were both posing and twirling on the red carpet, but it didn’t end there! While speaking with Netflix, Rue started singing “Let it Go” from Frozen for the cameras! Twice! Our hearts!
For those who don’t know, Taylor has two daughters with her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, named Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert Jr, born on Dec 16, 2015, and Rue Rose Shumpert, born on Sept 6, 2020.
