Michael Douglas Teases How He’s Going to Tell Fans the Truth About Marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones: ‘There’s a Lot to Tell’
It seems fans are finally going to get an inside glimpse into Michael Douglas’ life with Catherine Zeta-Jones, and everyone is freaking out!
In a video shared on his social media, Douglas revealed he’s been working on a memoir alongside Mike Fleming Jr. He shared the update to his Instagram with the caption reading, “I’m writing a book, with the great help of Mike Fleming Jr. We began this journey about six months ago, and I’m thrilled to announce that the book will be released on October 6 by @grandcentralpub.”
He added, “There’s a lot to tell — before I forget — and the process has brought back so many memories. Mark your calendars! For those who don’t know, the pair met again at the Deauville American Film Festival in France in Aug 1998, after being introduced by Danny DeVito. Zeta-Jones and Douglas married two years later in Nov 2000, and welcomed two children named Dylan, born in Aug 2000, and Carys, born in April 2003.
They did split up briefly in Aug 2013, with Douglas’ reps confirming the news by saying, “Michael and Catherine are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage.”
They reconciled a few months later. And a divorce will probably never be in the cards for them, despite rumors throughout the past few years. But as we said, divorce isn’t an option, especially when you remember what Jones said via DailyMail: “I find divorces repulsive. I will never get divorced, never.”
