Ransom Note About Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom Reportedly Gives A Crucial Location Clue: 'They Have A Radius'
In a truly disturbing turn of events, Today Show host Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing for nearly a week now, and is allegedly the center of a calculated kidnapping and ransom plan. Despite the FBI working around the clock to find her, and the Guthrie family publicly pleading with her captors to show proof of life, little is known. However, it seems there may be a glimmer of hope, especially since officials may have pinpointed a general location.
For those who don’t know, on Feb 3, the Pima County Sheriff acknowledged reports of ransom notes sent to prominent news organizations and has since been looking for the culprit, apparently close by.
TMZ founder Harvey Levin noted in an email to Page Six that authorities are narrowing down a location, especially since the ransom note allegedly revealed it. Levin said, “There is a radius around Tucson, [Ariz.], that they kind of disclose in this demand letter.”
(This checks out since Nancy’s home is located in Catalina Foothills, an affluent neighborhood about six miles northeast of Tucson.)
Levin added, “There are real reasons, based on what’s written there, that I believe that this person is in the radius of the Tucson area. Authorities … have a radius, and that’s something. [But] as far as we can tell, it’s impossible to trace the origin of this email.”
