Jennifer Lopez Allegedly Extended an Olive Branch to Former Stepkids — but It’s Made Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner ‘Uncomfortable'

Jennifer Lopez’s shows are full of flair, fun, and a lot of sexy looks. While people adore them, it seems her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner, aren’t too thrilled about their kids going to one.

Insiders told Rob Shuter for his Shuterscoop Substack that while the blended family is doing great, the concept of going to one of her Las Vegas shows is a bit of a hurdle.

The insider said, “She invited Ben’s kids. Despite everything they’ve been through, they’re still a family unit in many ways…. She’s still very close with Ben’s kids. They reunited over the holidays.”

But the idea of the kids going to the shows is a bit much.

“Jennifer genuinely cares about the kids, and Ben appreciates that — but Ben and Jennifer Garner aren’t exactly thrilled by how wild the show is,” they said, adding “some of the show’s more provocative moments made both Ben and Jennifer Garner uncomfortable. It’s a lot for them to take in.”

It may be a lot, but the blended family always defies expectations (so we may actually see them at a show)!

For those who don’t know, Garner and Affleck welcomed three children, with whom Lopez became the official stepmother when she and Affleck were married. Their kids are named Violet, born on Dec 2005, Seraphina, born on Jan 2009, and Samuel, born on Feb 2012. (Lopez is also the mother to twins Emme and Max, born in Feb 2008.)

Now, Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004, and then from 2021 to 2024. Despite their brief marriage, they appear to remain a cohesive unit and co-parenting wonderfully.
