Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Posts Intimate Postpartum Photo in Adult Diaper
There’s nothing glamorous about postpartum life, and Pete Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt is keeping things real. She shared an intimate bathroom selfie of herself in a t-shirt and adult diaper to highlight the realities of life after giving birth.
“Adult diapers all day (and night,)” she wrote on her Instagram story Friday, per Page Six. “My sister asked if I pee in them & if ur wondering the answer is NO LMAO,” she added.
Adult diapers are typically worn after childbirth as most women will bleed heavily for several weeks. There are many other postpartum essentials Hewitt needs right now as well, including a “peri bottle” and “ice pack pads,” which she labelled with little arrows pointing out in her bathroom.
Hewitt gave birth on Dec. 12, sharing a sweet announcement on Instagram about her “perfect angel girl.”
“scottie rose hewitt davidson ♥️,” Hewitt wrote, adding, “my best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”
Over the weekend, the actress shared another picture of her snuggled up on the couch with her daughter. Scottie rests on her mom’s chest in white pajamas with pink bows in the sweet selfie on Hewitt’s Instagram story, per Page Six.
“She can still hear it ????,” Hewitt captioned the photo.
In another photo, Hewitt showed the TV, where she was watching Disney’s animated film Fantasia. “I’ve been so excited to rewatch the things i grew up watching with my girl and i know she’s still too teeny now but i couldn’t wait to watch Fantasia,” she wrote over the photo.
Last week, an insider gave PEOPLE an update on how Hewitt and Davidson are handling the first few weeks of parenthood, which included Hewitt having dental surgery immediately after childbirth. “Being home has been really special for them,” the source said. “They’re settling into a rhythm, taking everything day by day and just enjoying getting to know their daughter. It’s been a lot of firsts, but it’s a really happy, exciting time for both of them.”
“They’ve very much in it together,” the insider added. “They’ve both learning as they go, supporting each other and feeling grateful as they step into this new chapter as parents.”
