Rumer Willis’s baby girl is growing up, and she is embracing her artistic side! In a new video, Willis’s 16-month-old daughter Louetta “Lou” is creative and cute — and even her mama can’t believe how big she’s gotten.
“That moment when you blink and they’re already mini adults????” the My Divorce Party star wrote over a video on Instagram recently. Lou is the cutest toddler in a pink-and-white gingham dress with a matching pink barrette in her long brown hair. She sits at a little table, scribbling on a huge coloring page filled with animals. She looks so determined as she uses a green crayon to color an aardvark, and it’s adorable to see.
Other moments in the video include Lou using chopsticks to eat a snack and helping her mom do the dishes on a stepstool. It seems like she was just a tiny baby cradled in her mom’s arms, and now she’s such a big girl!
“I can’t believe my tiny girl is so grown. I love finding time to connect and share our creativity together. And I love being her sous chef in the kitchen. Louie you are a dream ????????✨” Willis captioned the video. She also praised products from Lalo, which she credits with helping make “Lou’s growing desire for exploration and independence so fun.”
Willis, who shares Lou with ex Derek Richard Thomas, opened up about her own imaginative childhood in a February interview with The New York Post. “I think what I love about both of my parents is they really cultivated our imagination and the freedom of our expression,” Rumer said, referring to parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. “We were allowed to wear whatever we wanted to school. I have a photo of me where I’m wearing black-and-white striped tights with a tutu and a red suede fringe jacket. And that’s what we got to wear to school. We got to be so silly.”
The Sorority Row star said she grew up in a “crazy, silly, weirdo, goofy, naked house,” adding, “I think that silliness and goofiness is so deeply a part of me, and it’s really what I want to help cultivate in [my daughter’s] life.”
