A young boy in the U.K. had no idea what was coming for him when he wore Jason Kelce’s jersey to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. But it seems like Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce definitely had an inkling as to what would happen when her husband approached the young fan.
In an incredibly heartwarming video, Jason approached a t(w)een wearing his Philadelphia Eagles jersey, and the boy was just stunned, staring at the former football player who had approached from behind and handed him a guitar pick. His dad then goes to take a picture of the two, but the boy is still dazed and speechless. “He couldn’t even smile he was in such shock ????,” one person commented on a joint post on Instagram by the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL UK, and New Heights.
The boy’s father said “life goal completed” when he shared the pictures of him and his son with Jason on X (formerly Twitter). The next day, he posted the video with such an endearing caption. “Just wanna say a massive thank you to @JasonKelce if we did not already know it what a legend you are and for your wife to record it. We will be forever greatful for this interaction, even the shock it caused,” he said followed by a laughing emoji.
How sweet was that? Of course Kylie — who shares daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett with Jason — had the forethought to capture the million dollar moment. Moms are always on it!
Fans across the internet were so touched by the whole thing. “You just made the BEST memory for him and his dad ???? Jason you are a class act ????” “And Jason approached the kid! Jason recently opened up on New Heights, the podcast he hosts with brother Travis Kelce, about his experience meeting Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte after the concert. We’d like to think the former NFL player was just as speechless, but it sounds like he had a nice chat with the youngest royal.
“The highlight was Princess Charlotte … I cannot express how … I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have three girls now — she had fire to her, she was asking questions,” Jason said. “That was the most electric part of [meeting the royals].”
