If you mean London, they've known they would be relegated since the season began, as they were given an initial C license by IMG. If you mean Hull they've always known they would be safe, as they were given an A rating. To be honest I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hull finished bottom. London ( who were promoted legitmately) seem to have a lot more fight in them. If you mean Leigh I don't think they were ever in remotely in danger of getting the chop. Not sure who's getting bullied. Читать дальше...
Some interesting handicaps there.

You do know he was 2023 player if the season, don't you? I think he's been poor this year, but like some others I suspect it's partly work load related. I'll back Arthur to sort it out one way or another.
Well pop pickers we are in the Play Offs so now it's just a question of how high up the charts we finish and that process continues against Leigh this Friday as the P&B visit Lobby Gobbling land. It's safe to say that we've had our travails against Leigh in recent times and they will still be hankering for a top six finish...who'll come out on top?

There was probably more damage long term at our game yesterday with two accidental head clashes caused by their own team mate than most red & yellow offences this season. Both looked awful (especially the Hull FC one in slow motion with a head to the bridge of his nose).

Whilst there’s obviously so much improvement that can be made, the fact we’re in the hunt for 2nd speaks volumes about the quality in this team for me.
After all the injuries, changes and players used etc to be in contention is an achievement. And before you all say it; every club will have could have/should have results. The fact of the matter is, with 5 games left we’re within 1 point off 2nd, which we’d all have taken.
Yet reading social media you’d think we were 9th like in 2022. Читать дальше...

TBF - The product we are delivering on offer atm is very substandard. Sky must be concerned with the fact that we are showing stop start games, and sin bins galore which is now becoming difficult to watch, hence, we have been relegated to a streaming platform.

Well, it sure is squeaky bum time over the next few weeks. The respective run ins for the relegation candidates are as follows, and I've predicted the likely outcomes (irrespective of wheter a team "could" win, I'm just going with current quality/form):

Dewsbury (H) - W

Bradford (H) - L
Haven (A) - W

London won't beat Hudds away, don't think either team will win a game, so come down to points difference, we have 3 home games, they have 3 away games, so should be ok.
Best chance for us is this Sunday, possible Catalans who are poor too and might not have much to play for.
Just can't see where our trys are coming from to win a game though.
He's passed his medical, apparently, but the clubs are still negotiating over the finances of the deal. The transfer is uncertain

A sports bar and grill would be great. Somewhere to go for a few beers and watch a great selection of sports like S/L-NRL -NFL- NBA -UFC -Boxing. There is nowhere in Wakefield that does that properly and tbf I’d rather go there then into Wakefield.

We limped to 300 points for the season yesterday after 24 games - an average of 12.5 per game.
Our top try scorer is Lewis Martin with eight, he's the only Hull player to have scored more than five tries all season. We've not scored more than thirty points in a game since Wakefield at home last August. We've not score more than fifty in a Super League game since Leigh away in June 2021.

I’ve said it before, The Shay is simply too big for us and could potentially be a mill-stone round our neck if we do buy it. The fact town is looking elsewhere tells you all you need to know. I think a sensible option would be to move to King Cross Park, Siddal or Halifax Rugby Union. All have decent facilities for hospitality.

We did offer him a deal some time ago. He wanted more - whether salary or duration nobody knows - so he's leaving. One thing is absolutely certain, if we want to get back to the top we have to be utterly ruthless when it comes to cap spend - decide what players are worth and stick to it. Every £10k we give one player means that money can't be used elsewhere. We cannot go back to any player and go beyond what we think works under the cap.
He's about the best of our overseas players when his kicking is included. Читать дальше...
The final stage of the season is to maintain winning of 5 games & not loose form whilst avoiding injuries as much as possible, then are 2 last games to be won with I hope a full team.
We have the coaches & the players, I am So looking forward to these games, what a season & in one season we have a good team, up the trin.

I hope he can be reinvigorated with a good preseason and hopefully a better pack around him. I think it's clear Arthur has trust in him as I don't think he would be pandering to any sentiment with the remit he's had and he's still been starting him.
