Good move for everyone, hopefully it works out the same as when we sent Oli Pratt there last season

Is it 8 weeks Philbs has been out for? I think it's a big gap to come in to such a big game cold, better to play off the bench vs London I think.
On Fitzgibbon / King if they are fit enough they play, they are senior players and their performances deserve that. If there is any doubt on their fitness though, give them another week, we have confidence in those ready to play ahead of them in Holroyd / Bateman and Lindop.
If King does come back in this week I'd be tempted to give Lindop another run out vs London... Читать дальше...

I know he didn't have the best of times with us but he's been diagnosed with CTE. Just the tip of the iceberg I expect and lots of former and current players will have the same, either diagnosed or not

The is the condition that has brought concussions to the fore in contact sports. For anyone who hasn't seen it, try and find a way to watch Concussion, a movie about how the NFL tried to cover up brain injuries and the resultant damage. Читать дальше...

Decides to jump ship early-knock on effect of the ridiculous mid season negotiations rule.No great loss and very similar to Murray(who was sh!te in both games against us this season),needs full time to be effective.

Well Saturday afternoon at the Salford Community Stadium promises to be a top 6 defining match, I am sure Leeds will bring around 1,000 plus over for the game such is its importance.
Tickets for Away Fans (North Stand) and Away Seating (W01) will be available from the Salford ticket office on match day.
There is free parking at The Trafford Centre and a shuttle bus running every 15 mins to the ground from the bus station.
Parking is also available at The Salford Community... Читать дальше...

In reply to Jon. Ok, what about Matautia? Cover for second row, prop and centre.
On the Lino rumour, when Luke Gale announced he was retiring at the end of the season, he mentioned that next year it'll be Lino and Russell playing for us in the halves and he also had some nice things to say about Russell as a player and a person, which was good to hear.
After Cas not getting anything like the best out of Miller, I'd be very surprised if they went down a similar root again. They haven't seen anything like the form Milky had for us from 2016 until around those covid years

Other than Sinfield (who seems a way off forcing his way in the 1st team) I don't think any of others are qualified. Miller misses more than he kicks in warm up, and in any case given the development he requires in the rest of his game, the last thing he needs is that kind of pressure. Unless we want to take a big step backward in perhaps the only facet of the game where we have an edge on the competition we'd have to bring one in as a guaranteed starter.
I think that's just people making things up because they don't like him.
Even if we get Trueman I'd keep him.
We need some depth in SL.

The Dons website says the kick-off is at 7.30. Most other places are showing it as 6pm. I presume the Dons site is right? Does anyone know for sure that it's 7.30?

Sheffield's last six games:
Whitehaven (H): Won 78-24
Barrow (A): Lost 8-6
Swinton (H): Lost 34-22
Halifax (H): Won 28-0
York (A): Won 18-10
Widnes (H): Won 30-21
For 182, Against 97. Average For = 30, Average against =16.
It's about time we beat them! Let's hope they play like they did at Barrow, and not like they did against Whitehaven!
Bookmakers forecast: I reckon they'll be giving the Dons 12 points start.
