In the cold light of day (and go easy on me!)......
Still a brilliant win.
Unbelievable defensive effort when down to 11, but can't believe the lack of organization by the Saints halves. Inept.
Saints injury list did affect them far more than ours.
Harrisons sending off - well for me there was no 'intent' but shoulder does make contact with the head. Interestingly did you notice that it was Harrison that had the HIA, not the Saints player? He carried on - which was a suprise. Читать дальше...

And who says 'wow' has to be in the positive sense? Signing Jake Connor would make me go 'wow'.

If the teams shortcomings were glaringly obvious to you spook watching the game, I’m sure Powell wasn’t a happy bunny watching ,and also with the manner of the defeat either , being rolled over by one our nearest competitor in the comp without so much as a whimper . Heat , absentees will have played their part , but I suspect a touch of Complacency has crept in recently where we can overhaul teams going into the latter stages due to our superior fitness and power and skill set. I’m sure the coaching... Читать дальше...
Wigan fan here.
Brilliant game to watch. Outsider looking in, I thought that Warrington had rot that would fester within the club but Burgess seems to have brought new life and energy to your club. A lot of people mocked his appointment but I had a gut feeling that Burgess would surprise a lot of people, he lacks experience but he's one hell of a character.
If this match had been played a few years ago, under the same circumstances, I don't think Warrington come out with the win. The poor referee decisions... Читать дальше...

Me neither although I am reasonably confident we may score 4 more tries….although obviously not in the same game.

What makes people think "wow" is very much a personal thing. Some people are very hard to wow. The signing of Sam Burgess & George Williams must have got a wow from most people.
BTW I would love to have Sneyd.

We lack a quality leader in the pack, in fact you need more than one in that area. We’re soft as hell in the pack. Halves have nothing to play off and we have two poor centres. Newman looks a ghost of his former self

Beating anybody in the Top 6 is the first problem, let alone if it matters to them. We haven't beaten any of those sides since March. Four months. That's how bad we've been this year. Our current position is based on beating sides below us.
It took Smith a couple of games for things to click in 2022. Maye it will be the same this year, but we're running out of games and I don't think we have the squad to do much in the playoffs even if we get there.
Though FC winning does now mean we're guaranteed bottom effectively? Even I can't see us winning 4 more games.

We need to add goals to the midfield and 10 positions. Rothwell does a bit of that but we definitely need more there. We’ve lost Gray and Kamara so we’re one midfield option down, I don’t think Crew is quite ready yet.
We’re then a winger light as Anthony gave us depth there.. really not sure what we’ll do at 9… though I think Bamford still being injured will sharpen Farkes thoughts
