No point judging many in our current squad especially the new signings until we gave a new head coach, lets see how the likes of Frawley Sangare and a fair few others go with a proper coach. Bar about 3 players the whole side gas been shocking all season, and thats why we are currently coach less

Great to see Cory back in the squad and hopefully he'll play. AOB makes a huge difference and his constant darts and quick distribution tires out the defence, it's no coincidence both Barrow and Whitehaven faded in the last 20 mins so having Cory switching with AOB will make an even bigger impact.

The difference with Briers is he was part of the successful Wigan team winning a grand final, with Wigan playing some outstanding rugby that season. Then been part of a Broncos set up reaching a grand final, with team not really expected to make a grand final. He’s input in both teams was a massive contributing factor in their success. I’d say Briers is more than ready to take a top job in super league.
I went on sunday, for a couple of reasons, I wanted to see the new stand as haven't been to Belle Vue for a number of years. And also because it suited to meet a mate in Wakefield, couple of pints in Harrys and the Black Rock. And then a chance to get out with our wives to one of the many decent eateries in Wakefield.
£23 / £25 seems very steep for a match ticket, I know we had to pay Wakefield and it is what it is, but I wouldn't willingly pay that week on week.

Edit tried to post image but it didn't work. Look at 17:40 mark may need to slow playback to 0.25

In fantasy world I'd get two aggressive props, a powerful second row and keep Martin. Would not be upset at all to lose Donaldson, Bentley, Sangare, Lisone and Goudemand to make room. I know people talk about Bentley's strengths, but they will only really work if he's part of a big pack, as he was at Sts, and I'd rather keep Martin if have the choice. The others listed just aren't good enough for the first 17.
Some others need to be on notice. Holroyd for one, although its easy to forget that... Читать дальше...
Kay is already signed for next year.
McGillvray has said he's likely to retire
Gale has said he'd go again if not injured even if he is second choice.
Griffin I'd say yes but he hasn't got long. We need other backrowers to support him.

Lewis has struggled to make the grade in the NRL and chose the wrong club.
Perhaps if he'd gone elsewhere he'd have got a chance of playing some games in first grade?
I think that all of the SL clubs would be interested in him though as he's a very talented player without a doubt
Harry Robertson was utterly unplayable. What a talent.
