Former Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, the controversial figure Donald Trump named to be his White House national security adviser, escalated violent rhetoric against Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday, calling her "an enemy of America" and saying we're at "war."
Sitting alongside conspiracy theorist and right-wing host Alex Jones, Flynn encouraged people to vote for the ex-president. But his plea did not stop there.
He went on to use war-time imagery to compel Trump supporters to the polls.

“We are in a war right now," Flynn said, calling his political opponents "a dark, soulless group of people, Marxists."
"You have to understand your enemy," he added. "I’m sitting here and understanding what our enemy is trying to do because, when I say our enemy, you know I hate to say that about someone who is an American serving in our government, but these people are enemies of America.”
