At least two people were killed in a high school shooting in Georgia, according to several reports Wednesday.
CNN cited a law enforcement source with the death toll.
Police confirmed there were multiple casualties after the shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, which is about an hour northeast of Atlanta. The reported shooting happened about 10:20 a.m. ET.
Officials said one person was in custody.
School sources told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the school was put on "lockdown" following "reports of gunfire."
Camera footage taken from a news helicopter showed crowds of students being moved to the school's stadium, with multiple ambulances on scene.
The severity or number of people injured is not yet known.
