Former President Donald Trump, who was caught several times apparently dozing off at his criminal hush money trial over the summer, hurled an attack at President Joe Biden on Thursday in which he asked MAGA supporters, "Who the hell wants to sleep in public?"
Trump and his team vehemently denied reports from inside the Manhattan courtroom that the MAGA leader dozed off at his trial, but that didn't stop social media users from cracking jokes and coming up with nicknames such as “Don Snoreleone,” “Donnie Nappleseed” and “Sleepy Don.”
The snooze scandal appeared to stem from several New York Times reporters who said they saw Trump appear to be asleep, including one who said he “appeared to nod off a few times, his mouth going slack and his head drooping onto his chest.”
On Thursday Trump spoke at a rally in Potterville, Michigan, where he levied a slew of attacks trying to connect his Democratic opponent to the economy. As he spoke, Trump launched into an aside and attacked his former opponent, President Joe Biden.

"Do we have a president?" he asked. "He just got back from California. He was supposed to go to the White House, he never got there. He went to Delaware and he's laying on a beach sleeping all day long! No seriously, who the hell wants to sleep? And who wants to sleep in public? He's sleeping!"
Trump then inquired, "Do you think President Xi [Jinping] of China is sleeping? Do you think Kim Jong Un is sleeping from North Korea with his nuclear weapons all over the place? They don't sleep so much. But we have a guy sleeping."
