A former White House press secretary — who made waves at the Democratic National Convention this week over her stinging rebuke of Donald Trump — mocked her former boss on Friday night after he boasted about being up in one poll.
Trump took to his social media site Truth Social to brag in all capital letters that he was "FIVE POINTS UP OVER KAMALA IN THE JUST RELEASED RASMUSSEN POLL. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
The post caught the attention of Stephanie Grisham, who on Tuesday shared at the DNC on Tuesday night she wasn't just a Trump supporter, she was a "true believer" and one of his closest advisers, spending Easter, Christmas and Thanksgiving with the Trump family at Mar-a-Lago. She resigned Jan. 6, 2021, after former first lady Melania Trump declined to allow her to tweet that "peaceful protest are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness & violence."

On Friday, Grisham went after the MAGA leader again.
"Rasmussen was the only poll he asked about/we told him about because it was always in his favor," she wrote on the social media site X, adding a cry-laughing emoji. "There could have been 35 polls saying he was losing & all he cared about was Rasmussen. We used it as a way to keep him happy. #TheEmperorHasNoClothes."
Trump's boast comes as numerous polls have shown a national bump for Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential race.
FiveThirtyEight, which averages polls, reported on Friday that Harris was about 3.7 points up on Trump as of Aug. 23
