Vice President Kamala Harris' second speech as the Democratic Party's presumed presidential nominee was so raucous fans "had to turn the sound down," social media posts showed Wednesday.
Harris was speaking to the Grand Boulé of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority in Indiana, with electrifying response.
"The room erupted in applause as she took the stage," reported NBC News reporter Yamiche Alcindor.
Online viewer Qondi posted that she "had to turn the sound down" while watching the video of Harris because the cheers were so loud.
An X account named Obsessed With Justice, said that the video "gave me chills!"

"Welcome to Indianapolis, @VP ! Take it from the grandson of a Zeta—the Divine Nine gets the job done," championed Rep. André Carson.
Harris is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, which is part of the so-called Divine Nine — the Black Greek-letter organization that historically helped Black students who faced racism, segregation and isolation on campuses.
Another fan, Tristan, quoted from her speech, “When we organize, mountains move. When we mobilize, nations change. And when we vote, we make history. So let us continue to fight with optimism, with faith, and with hope. Because when we fight, we win.”
Attendee Ophelia M. Byers posted that the annual Boulé "has *long been* scheduled" and quipped, "The only thing 'colored' is our para." She followed it with royal blue and white hearts, the colors for the sorority.
On Wednesday morning, Fox host Brian Kilmeade allegedly called the group a "colored sorority," though Fox came out with a statement saying that Kilmead "clearly said college sorority."
"There was no way Kamala was gonna skip a speech to a Divine Nine sorority, possibly the sturdiest part of her base, to go listen to a politically tricky speech," wrote user Mvelase, referencing Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's address to Congress Wednesday.
