If there's one thing that could push President Joe Biden from the 2024 presidential election, it's if a key left-leaning morning show abandons him.
That's according to Jonah Goldberg, who appeared on CNN's "The Situation Room" on Thursday in the hours leading up to the fourth and final day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Goldbert said they're certain Biden watches and pays attention to MSNBC's "Morning Joe," and noted, "It feels like President Biden has lost Joe Scarborough."
"He was saying show me a point where you were behind in 12 battleground states or whatever it is at this late date," said Goldberg, referring to Scarborough's apparent defection.

"The spigot has run dry. Donors are not giving money anymore, Mr. President, we can't get donors to give money," Scarborough said Thursday.
Goldberg added that co-host Mika Brzezinksi appears to be "still in the earlier stages of denial, you know, or coping," but said Scarborough's comments are the "kind of thing that will break through: if Joe Biden turns on the TV and just can't find people saying he should stay in anymore ...," he trailed off with a shrug.
Democrats in the House of Representatives are reportedly claiming that the battle to get rid of President Joe Biden from the ticket will be "resolved" in three to five days.
Biden has been working at home in Delaware because he has COVID-19, and his public statements have suggested that he will be staying in the presidential race.
"Each day of indecision will lead to more public calls for him to step aside. Of course the caveat is — and has always been— that the choice is totally up to Biden," said Garrett's CBS colleague Weijia Jiang.
If Biden decides to step down, it will leave Vice President Kamala Harris on the ticket. Any candidate who is not Harris would be forced to start a new campaign account, fundraise hundreds of millions of dollars, and mount a national effort in less than four months, according to various political experts.
