Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account on Wednesday to brag about the rally he held at his Doral club in Miami, during which he complained about the price of bacon and challenged President Joe Biden to a golf game.
"What a GREAT RALLY at Trump National DORAL (Miami) last night," he wrote. "WOW, it was really Special — the Enthusiasm was off the chard (sic). Amazing crowd! Thank you to everyone who made it happen!!!"
Trump's misspelling of "chart" as "chard" — a leafy green vegetable related to beets — triggered an avalanche of mockery from commentators on X.
"Chard or Swiss chard (/tʃɑːrd/; Beta vulgarissubsp. vulgaris, Cicla Group and Flavescens Group) is a green leafy vegetable," wrote the account @margaretsfolly.
"Off the chard," wrote the account @coolcoolperry, accompanied by a GIF of chard leaves being prepared in a bowl.

"You are definitely a chard magnet sir!" wrote the account @Jake_McCarthy3.
"OFF THE CHARD! SWISS CHARD! STABLE GENIUS TOTALLY COMPETENT" wrote the account @Anisha12.
Even some commenters on Truth Social itself — the Trump Media owned platform the former president developed specifically to give himself a platform where he could deliver his views uncensored and uncriticized — lambasted the former president.
"Off the chard? Senile old man gets confused," wrote the account @frankthetank1.
"What's a chard rapey?" asked the account @Billyhuck.
