Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) used a Fox News interview about President Joe Biden to call out a right-wing plan called Project 2025 that would reshape the government if Donald Trump wins reelection.
During an appearance Monday on Fox News, host Dana Perino noted that former Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) had suggested Biden should drop out in an interview with the network on Sunday.
"Well, first, let me say that I'm not sure who really gives a s--t what Tim Ryan thinks about the situation," Fetterman replied. "I know that it says 'former,' so he's not really a part of it in that conversation right now."
Instead of attacking Biden, Fetterman called out Trump's connections to Project 2025 — even though the former president has denied knowledge of it.
"I think Trump is about Project 25," the senator explained. "And why did he want to run away from that?"

"What about Project 25?" he asked the Fox News hosts. "And I'm proud to stand with Joe Biden. And I'd like to remind everybody here that Biden won."
The lawmaker took a shot at Fox News's settlement with Dominion Voting Systems for $787 million after network personalities accused the company of rigging the 2020 election.
"And it really was very costly for Fox, you know, after they repeated a lot of the lies that Trump had after he lost," Fetterman noted.
"Wow," Fox News host Bill Hemmer responded.
