Randy Feltface’s Destruction Manual is a news series coming to BBC Radio 4 later this month.
From Australia, purple puppet Randy Feltface is a hit on the international touring circuit, and has over four million followers on social media.
Randy has a cult following for his standup shows, and now he’s turning his hand to the topic of climate change.
Fed up with seeing humans damage the environment, Randy’s four-part series sees him work out the best way to get the whole destruction business over and done with and bring about the end of the world – with the help of an irritable duck, a fictional French coalminer’s daughter and a sexy earthworm, to name a few.
Julia McKenzie, Commissioning Editor for Radio 4 Comedy says: “I’ve long been concerned that the puppet community is unrepresented on BBC Radio 4. As soon as I saw Randy I knew the quality of the satirical writing was something I wanted to share with the Radio 4 and BBC Sounds audience. That the listener can’t see him, is, I think, possibly better for everyone.”

The series begins on Saturday 21st September at 11pm and will also be available as a box set on BBC Sounds.
