Co-Host of The Five and Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on how the Democrats were able to convince President Biden to drop out of the 2024 race.
“I think he’s still pissed about it. And kind of has a right to be pissed about it. So I think and have always felt this way that Obama world is very fractured from Biden world, and that Pelosi has a much stronger relationship with Biden than Obama does even after the eight years together. So I don’t think that Biden and Obama spoke. I would guess that Pelosi spoke to him and Schumer spoke to him. I mean, these are all people of basically the same generation. I mean, Schumer’s the kid on the block, right, 76 or something like that. But I would imagine that they talk to him to relay that there are really genuine anxieties amongst the caucus. Like, I think that all of those meetings, you know, Hakeem Jeffries met with him. Schumer, Pelosi I don’t think anyone said like, you have 20 minutes left to live. But they said there are a bunch of people, these front line Democrats, these people in these tough races, yeah, that adore the hell out of you and do not think that you or them will survive this.”
Jimmy and Jessica also talk about how the Vice Presidential pick of JD Vance could impact the election and how Vice President Harris has handled the campaign trail.
