A brutally long course with tiny teams and a tiny peloton, this is sure to be a weird one. With full teams you’d think there would be a strong chance they kept it together for a sprint but in these circumstances the course probably gives enough chances to decide the race long before a sprint.
Eiffel Tower of the Day: Remco Evenepoel
No real teams to oppose him seems like the perfect setup for Remco to zoom off on his own at some point. It might checkmate the whole MvdP vs. Wout duel that the course otherwise seems ideal for.
