NEW YORK (PIX11) – Hundreds of jobs have been posted on the NYC Health and Hospitals website.
Nursing positions, social workers, and respiratory therapists are all needed at one of the city's many public hospitals in the five boroughs.
"Join an exciting team of dedicated employees who help all New Yorkers – without exception – to live the healthiest life possible." read the Health and Hospitals website. "At NYC Health and Hospitals, in addition to clinical positions in medicine and nursing, we also offer job opportunities in allied health care, administrative support, and professional positions."
On Tuesday, the site posted many jobs, including positions for cooks, dental assistants, patient representatives, and peer counselors.
There are 772 open positions, including client navigator positions, with a starting salary of $50,758.
There are 441 open positions, including a health information management specialist position in medical records with a starting salary of $100,000.
There are 433 open positions, including respiratory therapist positions, with a starting salary of $64,154.
There are 302 open positions, including a clerical associate, with a starting salary of $40,957.
Eight positions are currently open, including a position for a patient care tech with a starting salary of 45,934.
