CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (PIX11) – Miki Sudo has won the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July women's hot dog eating competition on Thursday.
Sudo broke the record for most hot dogs eaten during a competition with 51. Her previous record was 48.5 hot dogs.
Mayoi Ebihara won second place with 37 hot dogs. Michelle Lesco was in third place.
"Fifty, it's a milestone and we're just going up from here," Sudo said after her win.
