The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced a number of hirings and promotions within the organization’s hockey operations department.

Assistant General Manager Jason Spezza has also been named General Manager of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He will now be responsible for all aspects of the AHL club.
Amanda Kessel has been promoted to Manager of Minor League Operations and Assistant General Manager for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Kain Tisi has been promoted to Goaltender Coach with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Mark Osiecki has been promoted to Professional & NCAA Scout.
Hirings
Kevin Elliott has been named Head Athletic Trainer following the departure of longtime trainer Chris Stewart.
Jonathan Erlichman has been named Vice President, Hockey Research, Development & Strategy
Lucas Malloy has been named Manager of Hockey Operations
Chris Roque, Brandon Dennis, and Brian Ihnacak have been hired as Amateur Scouts.
Jason Pietrzykowski and Chad Nehring have been hired as Professional Scouts.
Karel Popper has been named Goaltender Coach for the Wheeling Nailers.
