GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Capital City Diner, located at 1709 Western Avenue in Guilderland, was closed for the past few months as it underwent renovations. The diner is now set to have its grand reopening on Monday, November 4.

Bob Pilarinos, one of the partners of Pilarinos Hospitality Group, previously told NEWS10 they were doing a complete renovation of Capital City Diner. They worked with the firm Parts and Labor Design out of New York City on the project.
Capital City Diner closed for renovation on June 17. The diner was originally projected to reopen around Labor Day.
Pilarinos Hospitality Group also owns Ambrosia Diner in Queensbury. Both diners have similar menus with all the classics including breakfast, gyros, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, chicken, fish, desserts, and more.
