ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Tuesday November 5th is election day. While most eyes are on the race for the White House, there are several local races of importance. Democrat Didi Barrett is running for re-election in the 106th State Assembly district.
The incumbent says one of her main priorities, if elected, is to implement parts of the New York Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. She says it's important the state follows through with it's climate change goals but not at the expense of taxpayers and residents.
Barrett sat down with News10's KC Kantz to discuss the issues facing the Assembly's 106th district.
