GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The entire graduating high school class at Glens Falls celebrated their acceptance to SUNY Adirondack on Thursday. The college admitted every single one of the 161 seniors.
SUNY Adirondack officials said the instant admission eliminates barriers that students face during the college application process and gives every student the opportunity to further their education.
"It really eliminates that student being nervous," SUNY Adirondack Pres. Kris Duffy said. "You can be in college. We want to make that easy for them."
SUNY Adirondack also has a partnership with other local schools like the University at Albany. Students who graduate are guaranteed acceptance into corresponding programs.
