LIVINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Two Taghkanic men were arrested following an investigation into child sex abuse images. John Vogt, 74, and Mark Vogt, 45, were charged with multiple felonies.
On Oct. 9, Troopers and the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested the two men after they received a law enforcement tip. Both men were charged with three counts of possessing obscene sexual performance by a child under 16 years of age, a felony.
The Vogts were arraigned in the town of Taghkanic Court. Each received an appearance ticket returnable for Nov. 7, at 7 p.m.
If convicted, each man faces up to four years in prison and up to 10 years of probation. They will also have to register under the sex offender registration list.
