TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Whiskey Pickle, located at 409 Fulton Street in Troy, has permanently closed its doors. The owners made the announcement in a Facebook post on September 27.
"For over three years, we have had such a beautiful, fulfilling, and fun time serving up whiskey, cocktails, beer, and pickles to all of you awesome people," said the owners. "Unfortunately, times are tough for us financially more than ever, and running this place has taken everything we have."
Whiskey Pickle first opened for business in March 2021. The bar served whiskey and other drinks, and hosted live music and events.
"We hoped that we could create a place that we felt good about on all fronts - we paid our employees as well as we could, served drinks made with quality fresh ingredients, and hosted entertainment that got people out of their lives and connecting with each other in a safe and comfortable environment," said the owners. "But after three years, we've run dry and need to find the next step in our lives, and we're sorry for the void this may leave in the hearts of all of our patrons and the people who encouraged us to keep going."
In Troy, Tatu Tacos & Tequila also announced that it'll be closing. While Whiskey Pickle has already closed, Tatu Tacos is set to close on October 12.
