AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the city of Amsterdam, a boil water advisory is in effect until further notice. This is due to a water main break and a water shutdown that happened on Monday.
The entire south side of the city is impacted by this advisory, except for these streets: Broadway, Windswept Drive, and Queen Anne Road. The town of Florida is also not included in the advisory.
Bring the water to a rolling boil and boil it for one minute. Anyone with questions about the advisory can call the Department of Public Works at (518) 842-3691.
