GREENWICH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Ice Cream Man, located at 417 Route 29 in Greenwich, is making the switch from a seasonal to year-round business. Owner Jody Cracco made the announcement in a Facebook post on September 1.
The Ice Cream Man just recently started selling more than ice cream; they now sell hot dogs and sandwiches. Once it gets colder, they'll be adding steak tidbits, soups and chili to the menu.
"We are starting to serve food thoughtfully to ensure that we are making our customers happy," Cracco told NEWS10.
Cracco also owns Dairy Haus in Saratoga Springs. Although The Ice Cream Man is staying open year-round, Dairy Haus will be closing for the season this fall.
In addition to food, The Ice Cream Man will continue to sell ice cream and custard throughout the winter. As of right now, the eatery is open every day from noon to 8 p.m.
