SEWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a vehicle and an electric bike in Schoharie County. The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Hill Road and State Route 10 in the town of Seward.
The e-bike operator, Mackenzie Bamberger, 22, entered the intersection from Hill Road and was struck by a vehicle on State Route 10. The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and called emergency services. Police said they are being cooperative.
Bamberger died at Albany Medical Center.
The road was closed for about five hours. The investigation is ongoing.
