CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Oklahoma man was arrested on Monday in Clifton Park following a traffic stop, according to state police. David Brakebill, 39, of Oklahoma City, is facing multiple charges.
On July 29 around 8:48 p.m., state police stopped a car on I-87 in Clifton Park for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, troopers found that the driver, later identified as Brakebill, allegedly had an illegally owned loaded handgun and a quantity of undisclosed drugs within the vehicle.
The gun and drugs were seized by state police and Brakebill was taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Brakebill was arraigned at the Halfmoon Town Court before being released on his own recognizance.
