GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Oneonta man was arrested in Guilderland on Thursday for allegedly having a stolen car. Joseph Spataro, 29, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
On June 2, around 8:04 p.m., troopers found a parked car unoccupied in the area of Crossgates Mall Road in Guilderland. After an investigation, troopers say they found the car was reported stolen out of Schenevus on May 1, 2023.
Troopers say their investigation led to the arrest of Spatora who possessed and parked the car at the location. He surrendered himself to Latham State Police where he was arrested and processed. He was arraigned at the Guilderland Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
