CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Capital Region native has a role in the new season of Bridgerton, Netflix’s Regency-era drama created by Shonda Rhimes.
Lucas Aurelio, a graduate of Albany High School and Russell Sage College, plays Paul Suarez in season 3 of the show. His character was introduced in the second part of the season, which was released on the streaming service Thursday.
According to a profile of Aurelio on the Russell Sage College website, he graduated with a theatre major in 2018. Over the years, he worked with the New York Public Theatre and the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble.
Other previous roles listed on Aurelio's IMDB page include Antony on the Netflix series The Witcher.
While at Albany High, Aurelio had various roles in the school's Theatre Ensemble productions, including Tony in West Side Story.
Aurelio was also a captain on Albany High School's soccer team, and went on to play at Sage.
