The Boston Bruins open the 2024-25 NHL season on Tuesday night in a rivalry matchup from the jump.
Boston visits the Florida Panthers, who will celebrate their Stanley Cup title from a season ago. The Panthers eliminated the Bruins in each of the last two postseasons as eventual Eastern Conference champions.
The Bruins released their Opening Night roster on Monday to prelude Tuesday’s matchup. That roster now includes Jeremy Swayman, Boston’s star goaltender, after finally reaching a long-term extension with the Bruins with just days to go before the season.
Here’s how Boston stacks up heading into Tuesday night.
