Plenty of cloud cover kicks off the weekend across Central Ohio. As the day goes on, a few more peeks of sun will shine through the clouds. Winds will stay fairly light all day long. High temps are expected to reach the mid 50s.
Tonight keeps conditions calm in the area. Low temperatures will run slightly warmer than average for this time of year at 40 degrees in the city. Skies are going to stay partly cloudy for most of the night with a few more popping up by the morning.
Sunday keeps our warming trend going with highs reaching the low 60s. This is about 10 degrees warmer than average for this time of year. Temps stay warm during the start of the new work week.
Rain chances pick up again by Tuesday. Later this week comes a very big seasonal change with a low pressure center bringing a wintry mix to Central Ohio. Because of the warm ground temperatures, any snow that falls will be little in accumulation and will melt pretty quickly. Winter starts in 35 days.
