Happy Friday!
We start the day off on a mainly dry note, with clouds gradually building, and highs warming back to the upper 80s for Columbus. A cold front then moves in, bringing scattered showers and a few thunderstorms from mid-afternoon through tonight. I think our greatest chance for delays for Football Friday Nite games will be along and SE of I-71, as storms linger. Temperatures will be falling back into the 60s as the games wrap up.
Showers quickly clear overnight, then clouds break up tomorrow, and we will be fairly breezy. Temperatures take a steep drop behind the cold front, barely reaching 70 by the afternoon. It will be a cool evening for the Ohio State game, with temperatures falling through the 60s and back into the 50s as you head home.
Sunday will be nicer, with more sunshine, less of a breeze, and highs in the middle 70s.
We kick off another warming trend next week, with sunshine, and highs warming through the 80s throughout the week.
Unfortunately, no real widespread rain chances through the end of the extended, which means the extreme drought stretches on for Ohio.
