NEW ALBANY, Ohio (WCMH) -- Today an Ohio resident celebrated a milestone very few people in the history of the world have reached: turning 110 years old.
She goes by Mina, and today NBC4 caught up with her son, Kim Klinow, who said he is in awe of how much history his mom has experienced.
Mina has seen the Great Depression, decades of presidential elections and even saw her very first "picture show" at the Sandusky Theater in 1925.
Klinow said his mom claims there is no one secret to a long life, but she offers advice for a happy one.
"Just take the day as it comes, and if somebody gets nasty and mean, move on with your life," Klinow said. "Just calm down, move on. If there's a situation where things are rough, walk away."
NBC4 wishes Mina a very happy 110th birthday.
