Happy Tuesday!
Following a strong line of morning storms as a cold front worked through, we will see nicer conditions into the rest of the day. Most of our shower activity clears up by about mid-morning, then clouds will break into the afternoon, with just an isolated shower chance for later. It will be hot and muggy, with highs in the upper 80s, but feeling hotter. Still, not a bad day to spend time outdoors once we're behind this morning front.
Then for Wednesday, expect highs in the lower 90s, with "feels-like" temps even higher. We'll be mainly dry to start, with the chance for scattered pop-ups during the afternoon and evening.
Thursday will be a similar setup, with highs in the lower 90s, but heat indices nearing the triple digits. We'll see the chance for scattered thunderstorms, once again, during the evening with daytime heating and humidity. Thursday does look to stay mainly dry during the earlier part of the afternoon, storms just start to pop late and into the evening.
Friday we'll see some more widespread rain and thunderstorms, with highs in the upper 80s.
A few storms linger into the first part of the weekend, eventually clearing up, making way for drier air into the end of the weekend.
