Good Monday Evening,
After another mild day today with plenty of sunshine, we will set up for a beautiful evening, with temps falling back into the 60s. Overnight, expect a few clouds to roll back in, but temps will stay well above normal in the lower 50s for overnight lows.
Tuesday expect a warm front to start to lift north, and this will increase cloud cover, and could bring an isolated afternoon shower or rumble of thunder as temps will push back into the middle to upper 70s with more clouds and humidity. Wednesday we will still be ahead of the cold front, so will continue with a warm and muggy push of air.
Expect our best chances of rain and storms on Wednesday ahead of the front, with highs still running nearly ten degrees above normal in the lower 70s. The first front will push through by Wednesday night, with temps remaining in the middle 50s overnight.
Thursday expect a slight moderation in temps, and highs will fall back into the upper 60s to near 70 under partly sunny skies. A secondary cold front will approach overnight into Friday morning bringing a chance of showers at least for the first half of the day on Friday with highs near normal in the lower to middle 60s.
With the front moving on to start the weekend, we will see some clearing, and cooler temps into the weekend, with morning lows near normal in the low to mid 40s, and highs only in the upper 50s, about a half dozen off the norm on Saturday. Sunday a weak cold front will clip the northern part of the state, but down here, it will at least bring some more clouds, and reinforce the cooler air, with highs again in the upper 50s.
High pressure will start to build in Sunday later into overnight. This will set us up for a beautiful, but brisk start to next work week, with highs on Monday only in the lower to near middle 60s, but with plenty of sunshine.
