Jake Paul finally fought Mike Tyson, and now the world is letting him know how they feel about it.
On Friday, Paul and Tyson had their long-awaited heavyweight boxing match, with Paul winning a unanimous decision in a lackluster affair. Even before the bout, Paul faced criticism for fighting a 58-year-old man and following the listless performance, “The Problem Child” that criticism only increased, particularly after Paul himself admitted to taking it easy on Tyson. And now a number of people are having a laugh at Paul’s expense, including former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew.
Even before the event, Bellew criticized Paul for the 31-year age gap between he and Tyson, even crashing the press conference with a man he introduced as a “great grandfather” as possible next opponent for Paul. And in the aftermath of Paul’s win, Bellew doubled down on the stunt, releasing a video with Paddy Power mocking Paul’s choice of opponents.

In the video, Bellew “scours the U.K.” for Paul’s next opponent, pulling men from a “retirement home” and putting them through a traditional sports training montage, ending with an ominous “Jake Paul, we’re coming for you.”
Of course Paul has been criticized for his entire boxing career for choice of opponents. The former Disney Channel star and YouTuber began his boxing career six years ago, initially facing fellow YouTubers before quickly pivoting to fighting retired MMA fighters. Overall his boxing record stands at 11-1 and includes wins over Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Mike Perry.
