The referee and judges overseeing Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka in a light heavyweight title fight at UFC 303 have now been assigned.
The assignments were handed down and approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission during a monthly meeting on Tuesday.
Herb Dean serves as the third man in the octagon when Pereira faces Prochazka in a rematch after they first clashed back at UFC 295 this past November. On that night, Marc Goddard was the referee and he made the call to stop the fight after Pereira dropped Prochazka with a shot and then followed up with more punches on the ground that crowned the Brazilian the new 205-pound champion.
This time around, Dean oversees the fight as Prochazka seeks vengeance and Pereira looks for the second straight defense of his light heavyweight title after knocking out Jamahal Hill back at UFC 300.
The judges scoring the fight are set with Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Ron McCarthy sitting cage side for the event.
The new UFC 303 main event came together on short notice after Conor McGregor suffered a broken toe that forced him to drop out of his scheduled matchup against Michael Chandler. That led to Pereira and Prochazka agreeing to meet in the new headliner on June 29.
The rest of the referee and judging assignments will be announced at UFC 303 on Saturday.
