London commuters are being hit with a double-whammy of delays today on the M25 and the London Underground.
Drivers on the capital’s major beltway are facing delays of up to half an hour anticlockwise between junctions J25 and J23 and up to 50 minutes between J30 and J28. Both logjams should clear up by 8am, according to National Highways.
Both lanes on the A1 southbound between the junctions with the A52 and the A607 are shut after a road traffic collision, causing disruption until 12.30pm.
Things aren’t exactly better for Tube riders this morning. TfL’s status webpage says there are delays on the Circle, District, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines, the Metropolitan isn’t running at all and there is a reduced service on the Piccadilly line.
