Now that the big day is over with, it’s time to restock all the essentials you burned through while making Christmas Dinner.
We all know how much food and drink, sandwiches, pigs in blankets, bubble and squeak, and turkey are consumed around the holidays.
Luckily, after shutting on Christmas Day, Aldi, Lidl, and Iceland will all be open again today to help you scoop up any leftovers.
Many shops will have different opening hours over the festive period, however, so it is always worth checking online before heading out to face the Boxing Day sales (and everything that comes with it).
But when will Aldi, Lidl, and Iceland be open over Christmas?
Customers should check the details for their local store online to be sure on the Aldi website.
And if you want to get there without battling trolley gridlock, the supermarket said between 8pm and 10pm is typically the quietest time for festive shopping.
The supermarket chain will be closed on Christmas Day but you can check your local opening hours on Lidl’s website.
Customers can check their local store’s opening hours on the online store finder or through the Lidl Plus app.
Lidl said that typically, the busiest times in store are around lunchtime, with the highest levels of footfall between 12pm and 2pm. Quieter times are between 8am and 10am, or from 6pm onwards.
Check online for individual store opening times on the Iceland website.
