Uniqlo are continuing their rollout across the United Kingdom with a new store set to open in a major northern city.
This year alone, Uniqlo have opened four new stores across the UK as the fashion brand, which originated in Japan, continues its expansion.
Last month, the company opened a store across three floors at Coal Drops Yards in King’s Cross, London, and new stores welcomed customers at Oxford Street, London, and Princes Street, Edinburgh, back in April.
Uniqlo also reopened its branch at Westfield White City earlier this month, which had undergone 10 months of renovation.
And in 2025, Uniqlo will take its expansion to Liverpool, after announcing that a new 15,392 square-feet store will open next spring.
The store will be situated at Merseyside’s Liverpool ONE shopping centre – located on Paradise Street – and run over two floors.
Uniqlo’s UK chief operating officer Alessandro Dudech said: ‘As Uniqlo continues to expand across the UK, we are dedicated to selecting the best locations to host our brands.
‘Investing in Liverpool, a leading UK shopping destination was a natural next step, and Liverpool One was the obvious choice given the unique opportunity to open a prominent, showstopping space on Paradise Street.’
The new store will replace premium menswear retailer Tessuti at Liverpool ONE.
Rob Deacon, director of Asset management at Grosvenor, which manages the shopping centre, said: ‘Uniqlo is yet another international powerhouse taking a showcase space on Liverpool One’s Paradise Street.
‘Creating a bold, compelling hub of best-in-class international brands has long been our strategy.’
