A woman allegedly dismembered a human body and cooked some of the parts in a pot that was still ‘warm to the touch’.
Torilena May Fields, 32, was with her mom Trudy Fields, who owned the home, and was ‘casting spells on them and being confrontational’, a maintenance worker told police.
The same man reported a gruesome finding to cops at the Northern Kentucky home that afternoon.
‘Units responded and found a dead female in the backyard,’ stated Kentucky State Police Trooper David Jones in an arrest citation obtained by the Louisville Courier Journal.
‘Tried to make contact with somebody at the house. The house was locked up. They backed up, set up a perimeter. We had other units respond. Ended up getting a search warrant for the residence.’
Officers discovered a dismembered body behind the residence, as well as blood-stained items and grass with drag marks, per the citation.
With the search warrant, cops got Torilena to leave the home and found her covered in blood, according to authorities.
They also saw body parts in a mattress folded behind the home.
Inside the kitchen, investigators discovered a stainless steel pot with body parts that was ‘warm to the touch’ and appeared to have been cooked in the oven, stated court records.
Torilena was arrested on Wednesday around 11pm and charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and obstructing governmental operations, according to state police. She may face further charges.
She was booked into Bourbon County Detention Center on Thursday, according to inmate records. Her arraignment has been set for Monday.
The remains were not immediately identified, and the matter is under ongoing investigation.
Torilena was arrested several months after a convicted child killer was busted for allegedly chopping up a human body and holding a cookout during which he served neighbors ‘French fried boy’ and ‘little boy pot pies’.
